The patent-pending streamlined design and optimized barrel angle significantly reduces pressure drop, providing over a 40% improvement in Flow Capacity (Cv) compared to standard strainers.
Robust Construction
One-piece injection molded body (no fabrication or welds). Available in PVC, Clear PVC, and CPVC with EPDM or FPM seals. Rated for 150 PSI / 10 bar (non-shock) at 70°F (21°C).
Smart Maintenance
Features color-coded, external buttress thread barrel nuts (Orange for PVC, Black for CPVC) and one-piece thermoplastic screens that easily snap into the retainer for quick cleanout.
Technical Overview
Designed for ease of installation and service, the YSH Series features permanent body markings, flow direction arrows, and is backed by Hayward's Global 3 Year Warranty. The YSH Series is available in either True Union or Integral End Connections.
- True Union Ends: Available in sizes ½” – 2” / DN15 – DN50 with IPS, DIN/EN or JIS Socket, Threaded or Flanged End connections.
- Integral Ends: Available in sizes ½” – 2” with IPS Socket or Threaded End connections.
- Pressure Rating: 150 PSI / 10 bar @ 70°F / 21°C (Non‑Shock)
- Screens: 1/32" (800 micron) thermoplastic standard. Options: Stainless Steel, Monel®, Hastelloy®, Titanium.
- Manufacturing: Made in the USA
- Options: Additional options include blow out drain ports and drilled/tapped boss access points for pressure gauges on sizes 1" and larger.
